Liebieg Palace is just before the completion of an extensive reconstruction, which transformed the former building of the Oblastní galerie Liberec into a new multi-functional community center called the Active Life Center (CAŽ).
A large hall, an art studio with a workshop, exhibition spaces, computer and multi-purpose rooms, two gyms, as well as a gardening club, which will have a ceramic kiln and a renovated greenhouse, were newly created in the palace. Visitors will also be able to use the new cafe, including the landscaped adjacent garden. The building will be completely barrier-free.
The operator of the “Active Life Center” will be the contribution organization Community Center KONTAKT Liberec.
The new center will fully open to visitors in mid-2023.
