Memorial to the fallen of the First World War
The memorial commemorating the 1,100 people of Liberec killed during the First World War is made of a special steel alloy with a rusty patina. This material was chosen according to the original design by architect and actor David Vávra. The four-metre high circular monument is set with plaques bearing the names of the victims.
