CHILDREN´S PLAYGROUND WITH SERVICES (PAYABLE)

Take your small kids to the Children's Corner (Dětský koutek) opposite to the Liberec Zoo and do not forget to take also a blanket and extra clothes. The blanket will be suitable for a picnic and your rest while the kids are playing around. Extra clothes will be good when the kids return wet from fountains. Besides the fountains there are big sandbox, swings, slides, maze, scooters and a sensational train with a tunnel.

Another great choice for your children is the ECOPark Liberec. Your kids sould try there children's labyrinth, sandbox, climbing frame or a branch nest. You can read a book from small free library, hang up in the hammock and be surprised by products made by your children in a creative workshop and what delicacies they cook in the muddy kitchen. Yum.

If your kids are feeling restless and need to be properly entertained, exercised and tired out, head to the Nisapark in Vratislavice, Liberec, also known as “the playground by the cinema”. This is a little further away than our other tips, but offers some really great attractions – such as air trampolines, wooden things to play on, a giant sandy beach, water mist and, for those weary “drop-outs”, there’s also a waterbed. Lots of attractions and even more fun. Jump right in!

FREE PLAYGROUNDS

Near the city center and free of charge, there is a playground next to the barracks (Prokop Holý Park) where your little pirates will find a wonderful wooden boat. Find the courage and fantasy and the last nautical battle can begin.

Another well-equipped playground with free entry can be found behind Home Credit Arena. There are hidden small houses, slides, climbing frames, swings, a natural gym or a popular children ropeway. There are many other pitches in Liberec, you can choose the nearest or beloved on the city web.

INDOOR PLAYGROUNDS

Is it raining? Do not be sad! Take your children to the Lunapark at the Babylon Center. There is no rain and your children would have fun in the style of the Old Bohemian funfair. Trains, roundabouts, swings, climbers, autodromes, crazy rodeo bulls or circuit for racers on scooters and other various vehicles can not be resisted. 

Let the children have play around in the Funpark, to test out their agility in the ninja arena, raft down a “waterfall”, try a drive through the city or fight a fun battle in the shooting castle. In the baby play area toddlers can become ice-cream sellers, shopkeepers, doctors or florists, while adventurers of all ages will love the trampolines, climbing frames and other fun active features. You’re allowed to monkey around in here!

Children can also test their dexterity, wits and courage at the DinoPark Plaza Liberec, where they can try their hand at the DinoTrek – a trail for bold children, closed to adults, as well as the DinoLaser, where they have to avoid all the traps and pitfalls, or try to find the skeleton of a prehistoric creature in the palaeontology sandpit… Keep your wits about you though, as there are dinosaurs roaring from all sides, some looking down from above, and although the DinoPark is covered, it rains regularly! 

Children will love the playful world of Tasmánie in the Plaza Liberec shopping centre, with its brightly-coloured attractions, climbing frames, slides, and various fun features to play around with. The café there offers coffee, desserts, something small for the children, and lots more.
