The promenade by the Harcov Water Reservoir is closed

The Labe River Authority had to close part of the promenade near the Harcov Water Reservoir in Liberec.  The reason is: the collapse of approx. 8 m of the former drive. Therefore, the trail is closed in a section about 300 m long in the direction of the dam. We thank to visitors and residents of the city for respecting the ban on entering the road. A walk along the embankment is still possible.…

The dam is inaccessible from March

The Harcov dam is undergoing extensive reconstruction from autumn 2022. The “Povodi Labe” tried to keep the road on the Harcov dam accessible as long as possible at the beginning of the reconstruction. However, in March, preparatory work on the dam itself will begin and construction equipment will start moving here as well. The crown of the dam is therefore closed from Wednesday 1 March 2023.…
