Vratislavická kyselka

The spring for this unique mineral water containing natural CO2 rises in Vratislavice nad Nisou from a depth of more than 200 metres. It contains an exceptional amount of silicon. Kitl, the company that sells the water, does not use any plastics when extracting and bottling it, but only stainless-steel technology.

From the spring to the spa and back again

The mineral water spring was discovered by Karl Skollaude in 1862, when he was digging a well for his fabric bleaching workshop. However, the spring was not recognised as having healing powers until 32 years later, when a small municipal spa was built on the site. Later, mineral water was bottled on the site until 2008. After several unsuccessful attempts to reopen it, the site fell into disrepair. In 2018, Kitl purchased the devastated Vratislavická kyselka plant and began work to renovate it. A modern warehouse was built, after which the company moved its traditional syrup production line to the renovated hall.

Taste Liberec and Jablonec

Kitl revived two of the original Vratislavická kyselka wells. Well HJ 8 from 1983 is 221 metres deep and was christened Liberec. The second is TV 4. This one is slightly older, dating back to 1964 and is 202 metres deep. It was given the name Jablonec.

Drink a toast to "Good health!"

The traditional mineral water is now back on the market and the legendary lemon and orange flavours have been joined by purely natural. All three variants are completely free of preservatives, colours and artificial flavourings. In 2024, Kyselka expanded its range to include a new passion fruit flavour, which contains real passion fruit juice and, like the others, is rich in silicon.  There’s no water like water. Have a glass of Vratislavická kyselka and drink a toast to "Good health!"
