Practical information for street parking in the city:

  • Visitor parking - available in designated zones with parking meters
  • Occupancy - Current occupancy of individual parking lots in the city is displayed on navigation boards
  • Payment at machines - cash payment (CZK 5-50), SMS payment, payment via virtual parking machine
  • Machine operating hours - Monday-Friday: 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday: 8 a.m.-1 p.m. (From Saturday 1 p.m. to Monday 8 a.m. and on public holidays, parking is free). Please note that the times listed do not apply to the special zones of Ještěd, the zoo, and the crematorium
  • Multi-day parking - the parking system does not allow pre-payment for multiple days
  • Disabled persons parking - holders of disabled persons cards with a properly marked vehicle can park free of charge in spaces designated for disabled persons (except for spaces with a specific license plate number). If parking outside of spaces reserved for disabled persons, parking fees must be paid
  • Electric cars - may park free of charge in paid parking zones with parking meters, overview of electric vehicle charging stations on mapy.com
  • Motorcycles - same rules as for passenger cars. Drivers must keep their parking tickets with them

ZOO, BOTANICAL GARDEN


In the nearby zoo and botanical garden is a paid parking in the streets, the largest number of parking spaces is in the street Fibichova. Another option is a parking area at the tram terminus Lidové sady.
