The display cabinets show the historical milestones of design and engineering skills, starting from the first tools all the way up to inventions set to find application in the near future, with special emphasis placed on the region of Bohemia with its abundance of tradition in the field of engineering development.
Mobility
At the heart of this part of the exhibition is a car linked to Ferdinand Porsche, while visitors can also see examples of works of development, design studies and research projects that will be applied to the cars of the future. All this is complemented by a peek into what the mobility of the future could look like.
Family
Here, the dominant feature is a large family table dedicated to the Porsche family. The table is full of commemorative artefacts and important moments telling the story of Ferdinand Porsche’s life in Vratislavice, Vienna, Wiener Neustadt, Stuttgart, Wolfsburg, Gmünd and Zell am See. Photographs from the period provide an introduction to a multimedia presentation on the life and work of Ferdinand Porsche.
