It was almost a hundred years later that this artistic lamp appeared on the street, the first time a project like this had seen the light since Králíček’s Cubist lamp. The lamp is a postmodern tribute to Králíček’s modernist work. And, like in Prague, Róna’s Lamp in Liberec is situated in a backyard (in the passage from Liberec’s main square leading to the Plaza shopping centre). It’s a lively yet intimate place, giving the impression that the lamp is a work of art on display as though in a gallery.
