The “Desítka” (“Ten”) in Vratislavice is a nice name, one that would fit well for a beer. However, we should point out that it belongs to a building where you’re more likely to drink your fill of culture. After all, this centre holds a series of meetings, talks, cultural shows, plays, fairy-tales and musical performances. And who did the “Ten” get its name? Well, you’d have to first see the light of day on 10.10.2010, and you’d get that cool nickname forever.

The VRATISLAVICE 101010 Cultural Centre now has a new gallery as an open platform for art, design and architecture, the Desítky Gallery. The glass wall running the entire length of the gallery gives visitors and passers-by a view into the world of art, pretty much 24 hours a day. You can also relax in the stylish café, which offers a wide range of hot, cold and mixed drinks and where they’ll gladly prepare you a full spread of food just as you require. You’ll also enjoy the summer terrace in the atrium, which offers a view of the chateau park as well as seating with films screened in summer. There is a children’s play area for the little ones. The entire premises can be hired for private occasions or company events. There is a car park right next to the building, with spaces for 50 cars.
