The modern Javorník Giant Barrel ski centre is located in Jeřmanice near the city Liberec. Sports facility is great for parents with their children.
Javorník Giant Barrel in the winter season 2024/2025
- This winter, the resort will focus on entertainment and leisure activities, especially for families with young children.
- Visitors can look forward to a small ski school for beginners.
- There will also be children's snowtubing, sledging, a snowboard obstacle course and a race track for children's snowmobiles.
- Weather permitting, we would also like to offer public skating.
- The popular bobsleigh run will remain open throughout the winter to add to the entertainment on offer.
Please note: Due to partial technical problems with the snowmaking and operation of the cable car, the main part of the ski slope and the cable car will not be in operation during the 2024/2025 winter season. We plan to resume full operations, including the cableway and ski slopes, in the 2025/2026 winter season.
The Javorník Giant Barrel in the summer season 2025
- For the 2025 summer season, the resort will be transformed into an attractive year-round centre with new experiences.
- Biker tracks will be created as part of the daily operation of the rope and bobsled course.
- We are also preparing a small zoo farm with interactive attractions and children's games, where visitors will also find an original café located in a historic tram. The site will also include a new tent city with a suburban camp, an Indian teepee and a children's club, which will enrich the offer for families and school groups.
