In Vratislavice you can take a seat behind the joystick of a DC-9 flight simulator, all of whose systems and the actual cockpit are from a real McDonnell Douglas DC-9 airliner. The simulator also enables you to experience some exciting situations: fly your airliner just above the ground as though it were a fighter plane, take a flight over your own town, select whatever weather you want… basically, free yourself from the ground and give flight to your imagination.
MIG-21 fighter simulator
You can also try out another wholly unique attraction you won’t find anywhere else in the world – an MiG-21 MF fighter plane simulator, which is made from a real complete fighter, with the designator 9414. This aircraft flew in Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic from 1974 to 2004. According to the documentation it was flown by many top pilots, including Oldřich Pelčák, the Czechoslovak cosmonaut. You too now have the chance to pilot this legendary fighter. And what an experience it’ll be! Nowhere else in the world will you find a simulator made from a real entire fighter plane with a projection enabling you to see everything you’re supposed to see. Speakers and amplifiers with a subwoofer faithfully simulate the sound made by this machine. This means that the pilot enclosed in the cockpit enjoys the most authentic flying experience possible.
