There is a new “ball” in the tropics pavilion of the Liberec Zoo
For the first time in its almost one hundred and seventeen-year history, the Liberec Zoo managed to breed The southern three-banded armadillos. The garden started breeding it in the spring of 2020 and after less than a year it received its first thriving cub. It was born on March 4, 2021 and weighed approximately 90 grams.
It is a great success for the Liberec Zoo and a sign that the armadillos are doing well in the local pavilion of the tropics.
