Magic Puppets from Orient

The Water Puppet Theater has been part of traditional rural celebrations for centuries in the lives of Vietnamese farmers. The unique form of a puppet theater is taking place in the middle of a water reservoir, original oriental puppets and photographs of unique folklore will be seen at the exhibition conceived from the collections of the Puppet Culture Museum in Chrudim
120 years of Liberec trams

The exhibition for the important anniversary of public transport in Liberec includes contemporary photographs, postcards, models and exhibits related to trams. However, there is no omission even for the bus service which naturally followed up on the trams. Visitors could see an interesting look not only on the typology
Vincenz Janke

In the collections of museums there are 150 glass-paved glasses with the painted manuscript of Vincent Janke (1769 Skalice – 1838 Nový Bor). His paintings (also signed), colored and mirrored backgrounds will be lent to the exhibition from Czech and German museums and private collections.
In addition to these temporary exhibitions, the Exhibition of Applied Art, the Liberec Nature Exposition and the Exhibition of Mechanical Music Machines are permanently located in the museum.
North Bohemian Museum is open daily (except Mondays) from 9:00 to 17:00, Wednesday until 18:00.
